Here’s something else that was really useful until it got disbanded and cut in half (just like Dante, Vmap etc). Once upon a time you could dial a number and receive detailed information on coverage upgrades around the UK.
Then, for some reason (cutbacks probably) the service was no longer offered.
Now we know that Vodafone are looking at the site – Hiya – so we’d like to ask you to email us at the usual address (the one we emailed you from!) and let us know if there is a way of receiving this document still? Ok so we may have been the only people in the UK to actually use it, but it’s stuff we love.
Update (well sort of)
We’ve just found this update from 1999 – yes nearly 10 ruddy years ago.
It made us chuckle!
Why?
Well, because it talks about TACS.
Oh how we laughed :D

We discussed this on the Vodafone eforum today and sadly it’s not available. There’s no other way of getting it either.
We’ll just have to try and befriend an engineer :D
