Our lovely friends at Vodafone have suggested that we pass on the following info to you.
Just to let you know that there is a planned outage of our Pay as You Talk (PAYT) System.
The outage is scheduled in order to enhance our customer management systems and enhance our customer experience. Below is a list of FAQs that will give you any details you may need during this time.
When will the outage be?
The outage is scheduled to take place on Saturday 8th November at 19:00 and will last until Sunday 9th November at 13:00.Why are we doing this?
We are preparing for the switch from prepay system to one single system, this will allow Vodafone to manage both prepay and post-pay customers in a single system.How will this affect our customers?
During this period, there will be a limited range of services available to Prepay customers. (Postpay customers are not affected by this outage).How can I Top Up my Prepay Credit?
You will still be able to register a new payment method, however, customers will need to top up via the following methods;* By automated Top Up using an existing credit or debit card
* By Voucher / existing eSwipe card
* Via a participating ATMHow can I bar my Lost or Stolen phone?
We are still able to bar your phone if lost or stolen during this outage period.Why can’t I access My Vodafone?
The outage will prevent our customers from logging on or registering with My Vodafone servicesWho will the outage affect?
The outage will affect all Call Centre, Online Support and our Retail Stores.Thank you all for your patience whilst we update our systems.
