Cellsites is back! It’s Official.
Monday 3rd of December 2007 the internet website “cellsites” has been relaunched.
Having first been published in July 2000, cellsites.co.uk was built in response to the ever growing number of anti mobile phone mast protests and complaints and an interest in the technology and engineering behind the masts. The site now continues with it’s new domain cellsites.info
Cellsites offers a place for others who are interested in mobile phone masts, as well as those who are opposing them and features photographs of many different types of phone mast in existence all over the UK and worldwide.
The registered owners of cellsites have no financial interest in the telecom industry (other than being mobile phone users) and have built this site with their own, personal money and time.
The site is well thought out and offers more than just photographs. It offers technical information for mobile phone users on how the mobile phone network works, a mobile memories section and even has it’s own support centre for bewildered people to ask questions.
The overall look of the site has changed, the content slimmed down and new photographs and information posted. The detail and attention put into this website could almost be seen as “geeky”, but it has not reached that stage and hopefully won’t!

Hi Cam and Nick,
Good to see that Cellsites is alive and well in a new location. Thanks for the SMS, Nick, and sorry that I haven’t replied previously. I haven’t added many cellsite photos recently to my site, haven’t seen anything sprouting up in the area worth adding. More focussing on my internet radio station!
Looking forward to the day when 3G Pico-cells will be available off the shelf! Even with a good 3G signal outside, the 3G signal dies a death inside the home, long live Voda’s rugged GSM-900 coverage!
All the best
Mike P
Great to hear from you Mike both here and on the air :)
