What is Vodafone Telenote Fax?
Vodafone Telenote Fax is an innovative service that enables you to send a fax from your digital Vodafone to a UK fax machine – there’s no other equipment required!
Who can I send a Telenote Fax to?
Telenote faxes can currently be sent to UK fax machines, as well as to Vodafone Incoming Fax TravelFax and 07000 FaxMe numbers.
How do I send a Telenote Fax?
Simple! It’s exactly the same as sending a Telenote (SMS) to another digital Vodafone. Simply select the ‘Write/Create messages’ option on your handset and create your message of up to 160 characters.
Then enter the number you wish to send your fax to, prefixed with 9741
If you wabt to address the fax to someone in particular and give your name as the sender, enter the message in the following format:
#Peter Smith#Jo Brown#Please call me on my mobile
It’s goes on, but you don’t really need to (or want to) know the rest. The details above are enough!

Here’s a Telenote Fax that we sent from our handset to our Vodafone Fax Mailbox today. It’s been edited to remove our phone numbers but the rest is intact.
That was my idea and product, as was the term ‘Telenote’!
The text to fax service was first introduced in Libertel in the Netherlands during 2005, supplied by a company called GIN.
